Net Worth Progression: June

It’s the end of the month yet again, it’s even the end of the 1st half of 2019! How quickly is time passing? It feels like yesterday we started the year, crazy. Anyway, here I will show my net worth and what has changed in the month of June!

My Net Worth Progression since October 2018.

In the month of June we’ve seen a massive rebound in the financial markets from the bad month of May. This immediately resulted in a higher net worth. Also the monthly paycheck (which will stop after July) contributed nicely. MoM (month over month) I increased my net worth with €2.204,97, an increase of 4,72%.

Calculated from October 2018 my net worth has steadily increased by 37,76% or €13.397,55. I’m sure the increases will become smaller and smaller due to my move to Italy on the 18th of July. However I’m expecting my option income to generate enough cash to keep increasing my overall worth even without directly having a job.

Investment income

For the month of June my total investment income was €1.492,88 which translates to €49,76 for every day of the month.

At the end of June the total for 2019 is €7.478,28 or 365 days of €20,49 each. Right now this translates to a YoY (year over year) increase of 115,23%, not too shabby!

  1. Nice work. Do you expect your option premium income to rise much as well, when your portfolio slowly grows over time?

Good luck with the move to Italy!

      Hi SD,

If I can keep this progress up, then my option income theoretically should grow too. As I put atleast 50% of my realised option gains into ETF’s, it provides me with more collateral to sell more options. But it’s all about making consistent choices with selling options and sticking to your strategy, we’ll see how it pans out.

      Thanks!
