Net Worth Progression: January

After the passing of each month we will look at my net worth, it will consist of all my investments, long and short term savings and diversified items I possess. Without further a do let’s get straight into it.

The Net Worth Progress since October ’18.

The start of 2019 was amazing. It’s as simple as that. The end of 2018 was rough but after January very few investors still think of this pain. The financial markets had the best start to a year in 30 years, my net worth reflects it. Currently I’m at €39.275,70, this is up €5.805,38 from December.

January was extremely nice to the stock market and I gained my fair share from the joy on Wall Street. After buying AT&T shares and selling calls I gained a quick €400 on that position. In the remaining days selling various options netted me a €656,57 in option premiums on my portfolio alone. I also sell options for my parents and I managed to gain €386,15 for them, this provides me with an extra €57,92 (15%).

In total January provided me with a realised profit of €1.057,94.

The reported €39.275,70 is divided as follows:

For the year 2019 I have already earned €2,91 per day if I’d calculate my income spread over 365 days, in short; January was great! I hope yours was just as awesome!

Happy investing!
